Lowri Davies

I absolutely love these ceramics by Lowri Davies. The intricate detail and fine lines of her birds and other imagery is really beautiful.

Secret Garden

Here are some photographs I took at our allotment. We are growing strawberries, raspberries and sweet peas amongst other things. It is a very pretty place and I plan to draw from the various plants I photographed.

Belle and Boo

I recently picked up a Belle and Boo postcard in Paperchase. I love Belle and Boo illustrations, which are all created by Mandy Sutcliffe, who spent time in Parisian parks drawing the beautiful french children. Her illustrations are all really lovely, and I think she has captured the innocent inquisitive nature of the children perfectly.

Abigail Brown

I have spent the past few days at Abigail Brown's lovely studio space at Cockpit Arts in Holborn. Abigail's intricate bird creations are absolutely stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed being in her company and am feeling inspired to get sewing!
